This is just a ridiculous statement. If Trae had gone to Kansas or Kentucky, they would've brought in someone else who obviously wouldn't have been as good but would've given more opportunities to others. It's like you're saying that, since TY averages 29 PPG the team would lose 29 PPG from their total.

The team would've been different but, IMO, not that much worse without Trae.

Well we will disagree. TY’s points are just one point that added to this team. His most important aspect has been his passing ball control assists etc. Again, if he wasn’t here, the rest of this team shows they are just like last year and with the schedule tougher this year we would have been lucky, IMO, to get 8 victories.
Also, if this team had anyone who could finish when TY sends them open shots or open dunks etc. OU would have won another 3 or 4 games.
