lose the other two. Finish 9-9 in the Big XII and have 19 wins. What does that get us? Lose one of those at home and we have a losing conference record.

It gets us in the dance as a single digit seed.

6 or 7 seed. Depends on what happens with other teams around us.

Hard to believe we have a losing record in the Big 12 now - guess losing 7 of 9 will do that to you. This is some really hard basketball to watch right now, not sure I've seen a team that just can't get a stop when they need, ever.

I am encouraged by tonight....Trae was the one that stunk, I though the other pieces played well enough to win.

Doolittle, McGusty showed up and that will help down the stretch.

No guarantees at home either. Nothing is easy for this team right now and confidence and attitude are lost

Team is soft.

A win is good for the soul....this team needs one pretty badly.

Had they played this way on Saturday, they would have won against ISU. But it's tough on the road.

no doubt...I love the Sooners but man..I'm not thinking any win. Makes my BP better..:ez-roll:

Totally disagree. Team D was awful. Boxing out non existent.

Tech had 1 more rebound than OU.

The difference was the 3 pt. percentage, turnovers, and fouls.

FT 19/25 or 17/25 who had what?
I will agree on the 3pt 7/22 - 11/21
TO's 14 to 10.
Off boards 8 to 10 **
def boards 24 to 23

I love the rebounding comparison stats.

**In the first half tt got, I believe, at least 4 OFFENSIVE rebounds on 2 possessions. 1 time it was at least 2 if not 3 right under the bucket with 3 Sooners to 1 tt guy.

BOTH possessions ended with 3 pt plays, 1 a kick-out for a 3, the other a put back +1 (which he made).

I could care less about out-rebounding a team right now, it's the type, timing and result of the rebound. Their 4 offensive boards led to 6 pts, their lead was 5 late in the game til hack a foul happened.

It's the little things...

The total rebound count doesn’t tell the whole story. Too many close-range offensive boards for Tech. Long offensive rebounds happen, but when you’re continually outwilled at the bucket it’s demoralizing

to you or the team?

The team didn't play demoralized and, with all due respect, it just doesn't matter if you (or any of the rest of us) are demoralized.

Did you notice Polla push McGusty after the game. It wasn't hard and I could be wrong about McGusty but I think it was McGusty. It looked to me like he was telling him with the push to knock off the negativity. I obviously couldn't hear anything that was said and could be wrong.

The guys need a win really bad.

They need to blow someone out. I think it happens vs texas.

Vs Texas in Norman last year, we had lost 7 games in a row coming into the game. We badly needed a win and got one. In the lockerroom you could here the relief and celebration in everyone's expressions. we need that again.

It was actually one year ago today

They played better last night against a better team than they did Saturday against ISU. D was better, though there were some familiar lapses.

Agree with it being TY more than the rest last night. Too many TOs (a real weakness that never gets mentioned) and he's got to quit shooting 3s if they're not falling....especially early in the shot clock when other guys are playing well.

Still the same frustration, though. Call me crazy, but I got more enjoyment watching the team last year than this.
