With ISU losing...

I'm confused with your assessments when considering the experts saying as of right now the Big X11 is getting six teams in the tourney. Would you please explain why you think we only get 4 in the tourney? I would be interested to hear what you think.

Sperry is just a contrarian, always has been.

As you pointed out, most analysts are predicting 6 B12 teams in the tourney, currently. There will be 5 B12 teams get in the tourney, minimum.

In fact, this website below compiles brackets from about 80 different sites. It was updated yesterday and has 6 B12 teams making the dance, with Baylor being most in "jeopardy" but still appearing on all but 6 brackets and 5 teams getting in after them.

Projected Seeds
KU - 3
KSU - 4
OSU - 5
OU - 9
ISU - 10
BU - 11

Also, Sagarin Ratings have the B12 as the 3rd best conference behind only the Big East and The Big Ten, despite only having 1 top 10 team.

Finish 19-11 (10-8) and we will be going to the NIT.

You may be right, but I can't see that happening if we finish fifth in conference. Down year or not, when was the last time the Big 12 had fewer than five teams in the tourney? I'm sure there have been a few over the years, just not in my recent memory.
