Woodard

I just watched the replay of the game on SoonerSports. He made the first and Bob Carpenter didn't even really remark on Woodard. He just said "WOW! 3 assists in a ROW for Cousins!" Then there was indeed a possession in which Lattin scored a bucket. Then he made 2-5. We had a turnover. Then boom. Number 6. Then a dunk from Manyang to top it off. It is a series that's definitely worth watching if you have a premium account.

In my amateurish opinion, Woodard's previous inability to consistently hit jump shots cost us against KSU twice last year. Bruce Weber played off of Woodard both times and limited the opportunities of Buddy, Isaiah, Ryan, and TaShawn. Hopefully Woodard will show KSU what he's made of this season.

What a tremendous shooting stretch by a guy who has apparently worked his butt off in the offseason

I wouldn't expect anything less from these group of kids

Yeah, he is on a good streak right now. I heard he worked on his shot in the off-season. He's a great free throw shooter and is much more comfortable with a set shot than a jump shot. I think not playing the point gives him a better chance of setting up for a good shot off the pass.

His 6 straight 3's against UCA were impressive, but the 3 that impressed me was his late shot against Memphis when the game was in doubt. It increased our lead from 1 point to 4 with about a minute left. That was clutch.

I've been very impressed with Woodard this year. He's always been a very smart player.
