WORST non call I have seen....

I think what cost the came was the skinniest player I have ever seen live Appebly (sp) being left open constantly. How many shots does he make before you realize he can shoot.

The offense suffered because they didn't take the open jump shots they had. Everyone was trying to drive to the basket and didn't get the basket or the foul. A person only gets the assist when the person they pass the ball to shoots it when they catch it. If they put the ball on the floor it is not considered an assist. This is why the PGs assists are so low. The assists are low as a team because the players started dribbling the ball instead of shooting it.

I have no problem with the call as well because Clark initiated the contact and the defender stood his ground.

I thought that was a foul but I don't think it is the reason OU lost the game. OU lost the game because they didn't defend well enough and had some poor shot selection. Teams win and lose as teams not individuals. Collectively they let one slip away.

i didn't think the last non call was a foul ... i do think buddy got hacked several times going to the rim and didn't get a call .. and i thought that cam was set and we should have had the ball up 3 with under a min to go .. on the charge/block call ..

we lost because our PG and our 2nd leading scorer played their wost games in a month at the same time ..

You can't just go one on one and expect to get a foul call late in a game like that. You've got to get something more structured. Hardly any refs give that call in that circumstances. Don't have a problem with the no call. Should've never came down to that. Up 4 in overtime and let them come back and take the lead. We really should be talking about the shot selection if we're going to blame the game on something. Way too many jumpshots, including the Spangler 3 point attempt late in the game. Didn't need that. Should've passed it and gotten a better shot. But they'll learn from this and be better because of it. This season is still a big positive IMO.

Buddy had a real weak game last night and missed a lot of easy one's he usually hits. Including multiple and one's that he normally hits. It was just the perfect storm for us to lose yesterday.
