just for a reference, since everyone likes to compare him to Curry, Davidson had very good years when Steph was there. Around 10 loss seasons, but if you look at the schedules, they got better as the year went on and ended the regular season on massive winning streaks.

Yep, and of course, Davidson was playing in the best conference in America when they went on those winning streaks and improved their play as the season progressed . . . :facepalm

It's all relative.
Yes they played in a lesser conference, but they also had lesser talent on the team.

I don't know how Norman did while Trae was there but somebody mentioned in another thread that they never won anything of significance

I disagree. I think most high draft picks won in college. Texas was really strong when Durant was at Texas. OU was strong when Blake was at OU. OU was strong when Buddy was at OU. They may not make the final four but they l as their teams to good seasons for that program.

Check out the last couple number one picks. Simmons is having the best rookie season in the past decade, and even he couldn't save LSU. And that tem had other future pros on it. And Washington was awful last year. In any event, unless we actually miss the tourney, we don't even need to debate this.

First of all, you've been making the argument he's a late 1st-rounder, so nice strawman attempt there. Second, my point was that every NBA executive -- who I'd put money on knows a little more about basketball and the NBA than you do -- would put him higher up on the board than you did.

If you think he sucks, there's not a lot of hope for you. It would help you and about 80% of the members here to gain a little perspective during this losing streak. Hopefully you'll still be around when they break that streak.

Ive been going to games for almost 20 years Chuck. I never said Trey stinks, I just dont think hes a 10 time all star. He will get drafted and have a lengthy career. Im not a sunshine pumper or a negative person, just tell it like I see it.
