goes down with that injury. Doesn't look good - what an amazing young woman and to have to go through that - only God knows why but I'm sure Whitney will hand in there Proverbs 3:5&6

I'm hoping and praying that young lady is okay. She's already had one acl tear, please don't let it be another one. She's the heart and soul of the women's program and deserves to play her final year.

So would she get a 6th year if she wanted one or has she played too much of the season? Just wondering.

She's probably played too much. I don't know if it's the same knee, either. Wasn't Ryan Reynolds denied a 6th year because they said it was the same knee? I doubt that she would want to come back anyway. She and Landry are probably ready to move on with their lives.

You figured she would have played pro somewhere. I wonder what will happen there?

I've already gotten tickets to two road games. I imagine things will be quite different.

It was terrible. I've NEVER felt so bad for a kid. And it wasn't a freak play or anything.

I am proud she is a Sooner; a great one. And when I say my prayers tonight, I will be thinking of her.

I am really sorry to hear Whitney. I never want any player regardless of what team they play for to get injuried. I have much respect for Whitney and have always liked her "never give up" attitude and her all out hustle on the floor. She reminds me a lot of Melissa Jones!

She is married and her husband will play in the NFL, so my guess is that Whitney just played her last basketball game. I hate that for her.

My heart goes out to her, this isn't the way her career should end she looked like she was on her way to all big 12 and getting drafted to the WNBA...
