Theres no excuses for Capel...Theres just facts. Season 1 he was left w/ no one and somehow managed to get them to .500. Year 2, took them to the tournament. Year 3, May have had the 2nd best team in the league but unfortuanetly they wanted to see Griffin v. Hansborough; so instead of being able to say Capel took us to the final 4 or the championship game..we get to say that he took us to the elite 8. Year 4, was a reloading year...but when your best player(Warren) was out the last 8 conference games and banged up even more games, we go on a big losing streak. And Warrens last game was a win against Texas. And this year became a rebuilding year b/c we lose Crocker, Wright, Gallon, TMG, and Warren.
These aren't excuses...these are the facts. Next year isn't reloading, its not rebuilding, its just plain time for the team to be back at where we use to be. If we don't meet our high expectations of being back at the NCAA tournament..then bye bye Capel..hello ???
