2025/2026 Roster

Landry left because shes just out there. D1 hoops is a job. Job + a lot of extra time. She wasn't willling to put in that time.

She can drop to a lower d1 or d2 and be pretty good.
lol ya, my son played D1 juco baseball .. till got injured. Coach recruiting said that… it’s a job, so if ya don’t love ball don’t play

I thought KJ was worse this season compared to last season. She just didn't seem to have progressed in her basketball IQ or her ability to score so I think that's why her minutes dwindled. I believe she could be very good at a lower level School though! Wouldn't be surprised if Scott landed at Ole Miss I know she took a trip there.

I seen a little mini clip of Keziah Lofton training in a gym on IG.

IG @ getmooregame in their story.

Wonder if ou didn’t anticipate a couple of the roster losses and just have gotten caught behind on some of their pirtal needs.

If so, i could see jennie not wanting to fill up roster spots with lesser players even if it means taking some risks for this season

If we stay healthy i like the kids we have

I would be interested to see who else was interested in her. Based on her numbers I’m not hopeful of a big impact. The Irish player Texas just signed was being recruited by Notre Dame and Duke.

Well, of course. We all know Jennie can only recruit/sign "lesser" players.

This is just a guess but sometimes international credits don't transfer and they have to take a couple of classes to be academically eligible.
I don’t think she is a transfer. Schools in Ireland are different. She went to a secondary school which is a combination of our middle school and high school. Think Harry Potter. She will be coming in as a freshman with four years eligibility. As far as high school credits, she would just need a qualifying score on the ACT.

I would think she already got accepted right? Because why would OU WBB post that and she didn’t get accepted… Im pretty sure she is locked in for this upcoming season regardless because they aren’t just going to post something and are not for sure she isn’t eligible to play.

I wouldn’t think at least.

I just remember years ago, there was an international player on the men's team who had to take a couple of classes first semester to be eligible. But it's been a long time ago and I don't think he came from an EU country.

I also don't have much expectation of her being impactful, but I hope she surprises us and can contribute, rather than just being another body. she's a 5'11 forward, so she's undersized. We need quality over quantity, so perhaps JB sees her actually contributing.

I watched some highlights and she seems very strong, pretty good Basketball IQ and plays the game very smooth. And I don’t even think she is at her best yet. You can tell she does have some stuff to work on but that will come the more she plays into Jennie Style.

that was Najera ... but it was because he had to pass the The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) exam before he could enroll

he was at OU for a year just studying English ..and play bball intramurals ..

After I read that Tolan played Gaelic Football, what we would see as a form of rugby but more physical,, my expectations moved upwards.
If she's tough enough to be a starter for that sport, nobody her size is going to push her around. She probably has a toughness tha doesn't need to be taught.

this is true? Ive never heard this story
According to Google AI:
Yes, according to several sources, Eduardo Nájera spent his first year at the University of Oklahoma focused on improving his English language skills.
  • He redshirted his freshman year, essentially sitting out the season to learn the language.
  • Nájera needed to become proficient enough in English to achieve the required standardized test scores for eligibility to play.
  • He mentions that the first year in Oklahoma was difficult, as he could understand and read English but struggled with conversation.
  • Learning English was important to him and a promise made by Coach Kelvin Sampson.
