another nice response in the 4th when baylor shrunk that lead.

Theses young centers are growing leaps and bounds in front of everyone. Colliton has lost good weight, learned yo move from either side to make layups, while Kierston has absolutely found her shot and both of them move up and down court readyto play either offense and defense. Just think next year we will, have three very good inside players, plus the young freshman will be much better after another summer of work and then fall practices. The future looks very good for our entrance two the summer the suck league! It was not 6 weeks ago when I was saying they needed much work. Someone listened and boy did things improve. Thanks ladies and coaches.

84-73 win…and an impressive overall team performance. Vann got in early foul trouble and had to sit for a lot more minutes than normal. But Kiersten Johnson stepped up and scored a career high 20 on an efficient 8-12 from the field and 4-5 on free throws. I want to complement the coaching staff and Kiersten for her development…she has improved and is becoming a consistently good center.

Verhulst had a great overall game with 16 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 blocks...she is really playing at a high level. Sahara got hot in the 2nd half and scored 14, Tot had her usual good PG game with 14 points, 4 assists, 4 steals and 0 turnovers. Then in the 4th quarter when Baylor made a run to pull within 4…Skylar got 2 important buckets as part of a 6 point run to get the lead back to 10 and we had the game won. Vann still got 10 points even with the foul trouble.

Next up Saturday at West Virginia.

I think if OU beats West Virginia, they will run the table for the rest of the regular season. Every player is doing something well. If they are not shooting well they are rebounding and playing strong defense.
By the way has anyone else noticed that Ashley Joens and her younger sister Kelsey are almost identical. They play alike as well. Their older sister looked a little different and was much taller.

Is Michael Voepel the same person that used to be Mechelle Voepel?

Look up the word "team" in your dictionary and a picture of the Sooners should be right there next to it. It's a pleasure watching these young ladies – the way they run the floor, share the basketball, make perfect passes to teammates when they cut to the basket, etc. Coach Jennie and her staff are building a championship caliber team. And they should be even better next year when Liz Scott returns and a few highly regarded freshmen make it to Norman. The future is looking bright for our Sooner ladies.

Good stuff. Does anyone know a good way to watch Post Game Press Conferences?
