'24 NCAA Tourney Discussion Thread

Oakland probably would have won if they had more NIL and a better arena. ;) NC State is quite the story itself. I never want to hear any college basketball coach or fan complain the next time their team plays two games in three days after seeing this run.

Texas looks real good when their offense is going when it's not they look real bad.

Is it possible for you to make a comment without dissing OU on some way? Can you just enjoy basketball?

I really like Weaver for Texas. Knows how to use his athleticism to impact the game.

Texas did all they could to come back but just couldn't get over the hump.

Question about an inbound play by Texas w/ about a minute left. They inbounded from the frontcourt. They threw the ball toward the back court. The texas player jumped into the air from the front court catching the ball before he landed in the backcourt.

Should he be considered as established in the front court since that is where he jumped from? Or is it different on an inbound play?

It "looked" like a back court violation, but I'm not 100% on the rule on an inbounds play.

As long as you don't establish it in the front court it's okay. Happened in the Oakland game too they said the rule is he didn't establish it so he can go in the back court to establish possession.

I noticed that and would have loved to have seen a replay of have them discuss it with Gene Steratore. At the very least, it was a very risky play by Texas. You need to throw it well into the backcourt so you don’t take that chance!
