'24 NCAA Tourney Discussion Thread

This game and the Colorado/Florida game were the best 2 tournament games so far.

That ashworth PG is amazing. I'm obsessed with how he plays. Everything that uzan was supposed to be..

Oregon has the same probably Oakland had. Too many players not able to pick up the scoring.

We won't be playing them anymore.....
I hope that isn't the case.

I hope we have an annual game with osu, and continue playing Big 12 teams, at least the ones that make sense to play. Also think we should be playing Tulsa/ORU more as well. We'll get Arkansas annually, so that'll be nice. I like regional rivalries and games that matter to fans. You want fans to show up, play teams like that OOC, not Mississippi Valley State who didn't pick up their first win until their 28th game of the season.

If OU, osu, TU, and ORU were smart, they'd go back to having a two day "showcase" rotating between Tulsa and OKC. Either have it where OU/osu don't play each other (if they are playing outside of this event), or have it be set up as a little 2 game tournament. OU and OSU in separate first games, rotate opponents between TU/ORU each year. Winners play the next day. Losers play the next day. Turn it into a big deal (a concert or entertainment, etc). Could be a lot of fun and something that would bring a crowd, especially if/when TU/ORU turn things around. At the very least we're keeping some money in the state.

Game 1 is tipping off.

Can Colorado keep up their hot (ish) streak? They're underdogs (+4.5) vs Marquette. Should make for an interesting matchup.

I'm not sure how Colorado will work in the Big 12 playing no defense at all. But they are making every shot right now.

You can definitely see a lot of Cody Williams brother(Jalen) in how he plays. Just a way skinnier less finished version of him.

Colorado had 2 missed wide open 3s late in this game.

Colorado still has fouls to give. You don't see that much anymore in games like this.

Missing those 2 open 3s ended up costing this game for Colorado.

I said I wasn't going to do this earlier in the thread, but my bets today:
Utah State +6.5 (first half)
Clemson +4.5
Houston -9 (will probably live bet if Houston gets behind early)
