You would think that meant Tech was shooting a bunch of 3's, but they are 0-2 from deep.

You have a 0% chance of winning a game with a free throw disparity that big.
 
Well tech needs to get the ball across half court in order to earn free throws. Though, there have been some touch fouls called against tech I didn't really agree with.
 
Did you watch the game?

Lack of 3-point shots doesn't mean you were getting the ball inside or aggressively driving into the lane.

When Tech started the game 4-for-4 and and 8-0 lead, they were all about 15-17 foot jump shots.

They continued to take those shots for the rest of the half, but they simply weren't falling.
