And my other question is if we played them on a neutral floor what would the score be?

I say they woulda went 16-2 in the big 12 with both losses coming on the road. And I say the score between OU and Kentucky would be..

OU 56
UK 70

They wouldn't be undefeated. I think Baylor, Kansas, OU, and ISU all could give them a run. West Virginia's press might give them trouble...

I'd say 16-2 is probably a good #.

Neutral floor: 74-62 UK.

I would not like OU's chances of keeping it close against Kentucky. They're so ridiculously tall - Woodard would be giving up six inches to everybody and Thomas and Spangler are smaller than Kentucky's forwards, let alone their centers.

Having said that, Kentucky could get cold like they did against Texas A&M. Or Hield and Cousins could both play well in the same game for once.

I'd say UK by 15 on a neutral floor. But Pomeroy says only 7 and Sagarin says 11.

Texas took them to the wire without Taylor... With the right circumstances I think we could at least keep it close. Obviously they are exceptionally good, but they get cold from time to time and have almost lost to three other SEC opponents: OLE MISS, TEXAS A&M and FLORIDA.

I think their record would be the same as it is now.

All the computers rate Kentucky's schedule at around the 45th best in the country. They have only played 4 games against top 25 teams as far as the computers are concerns. OU has played 10, KU 11.

There are six big 12 teams ranked higher in terms of performance (Sagarin, Ken Pom, RPI, etc.) than the SECOND BEST SEC team (arkansas and/or LSU depending on computer ranking).

The likelihood of losing one game in this murderer's row of a round robin is pretty high.

I want this to sink in: Kentucky has only played TWO GAMES in conference on the road against teams with conference records above .500.

16-2 or 15-3. Easily be first in the conference.

I think they'd be undefeated still, sure they've had some tough contests in the conference, but when they get up for a big time game they kill whoever.

i think they'd look forward to playing any of the top teams of the Big 12 much more than anything in the SEC.

Didn't UNLV have a weak conference when they flirted or met perfection? Seemed like they played a great non conference that include OU.

Kentucky I thought played some good teams in KU, Texas, Duke, Louisville.

Seemed like Calapari can get teams undefeated.
Thought Memphis was good until Kenyon Martin broke his leg.

Kentucky did curb stomp Kansas who is alone is first in this conference.

Kenyon Martin played for Bob Huggins at Cincinatti...
Pretty sure Calipari was getting UMass in trouble for cheating in that time period.

They also beat Kansas by 32 on a neutral court.

That being said, Kentucky would absolutely still be undefeated in the Big 12.

They would be the best team in the league. They would not be undefeated. Seasons have highs and lows, players have highs and lows, even winning against mediocre teams. Sub in a schedule of good teams with diverse styles and they go down once or twice.

The Big 12 is a deep enough league that Kentucky might have to play five ranked teams in six games, depending on how the schedule fell.

Having said that, I would give them one loss at the most.

Unfortunately, the Big 12 is deep league but no elite teams. It takes elite teams to beat Kentucky.

They'd be in first place in the Big 12, but no way they'd be undefeated. Too many good offensive teams in the Big 12, and during at least 1-2 of those games, that team would have gotten hot enough to knock off UK. UK has a lot of games where they struggle to score.

Luckily for them they didn't play a ridiculously tough OOC schedule this year, and the SEC is super weak.

Wouldn't be undefeated, but they also would not be challenged for the regular season title.

They played Kansas, Texas, North Carolina, Providence, Louisville and UCLA all out of conference.

That's much tougher than most OOC schedules.

Kentucky has beaten 11 RPI top 50 teams and 18 wins against the RPI top 100.

Lets not act like they haven't played a tough schedule.
