29-0 Kentucky...what would they be in the Big 12?

I think they would lose 2 away games vs. Kansas, OU, West Virginia, Iowa State or Baylor. All very good teams that are tough at home. I don't think they would lose a home game. I think they would win the league easily.

They played Kansas, Texas, North Carolina, Providence, Louisville and UCLA all out of conference.

That's much tougher than most OOC schedules.

Kentucky has beaten 11 RPI top 50 teams and 18 wins against the RPI top 100.

Lets not act like they haven't played a tough schedule.

Ken Pom has their OOC SOS (if I'm reading it right) as 92nd in the country.

That is not strong.

29-0. Texas has the size to try to match up but that's about it. If UK lost it would be a fluke.

It might sound backwards, but people pay too much attention to numbers.

Look at those OOC opponents I just listed and tell me that isn't a tough slate?

Compare their OOC to Duke's, or Arizona, or Gonzaga for that matter.

And CBS lists their overall SOS as 30th in the country.

So either their OOC was very good, or their SEC schedule was very good.

But your initial statements about them having a weak OOC and SEC schedule doesn't add up.

they struggled in several conf games against bad to average teams ..

do that on the road in the big 12 and you lose games ....

they would not be undefeated .. but they would win the league

big 12 has some pretty strong front courts. i think they would drop a couple games in this league. would certainly still win it though. they are ridiculous with talent.
