You are correct. As I recall, Smart was a juco transfer. Knight didn't sign many juco transfers, even back then when the junior colleges produced some really good players.

I'm not certain of the answer to your trivia question. The first Dream team member I recognized for sure was Larry Bird making a pass to #22, which I assume was Clyde Drexler.

Garden City to be exact; I had the chance to watch him play up here before he headed off to IU. Dean Garrett (CCSF) was another key player from the JUCO ranks on that title team.

David Robinson was in a quick scene in the video.

Little known fact that David Robinson almost transferred to OU before his junior year. If he had could you imagine him teamed up with the rest of the crew (King,Blaylock, Grant, etc)?
