#6 Virginia falls to George Washington

Actually, one should expect "upsets" in early season games. Good teams often do not play their best the first month of the season. What you see from a team on game #1, #2 or #3 is not what you see from the same team on game #20. The really good teams improve from week to week to week. What really counts is how teams bounce back from bad games, and how they are playing down the stretch.

Also, who really knows what a team should be ranked before they play any games?

The best news is that college basketball has started.

Watched the whole game, what a bummer. But GW played well. UVA is my 2nd team behind OU

we see all the time, teams under the radar or have solid teams get lots of good wins early in all the tournaments/preseason than kinda fade during conference play and are on the bubble when march comes.
