Those are Pledger's numbers from the field, three point line and from the charity stripe.

The watermark for great/efficient shooters is usually 50, 40 and 90

Now he needs to step up his free throw percentage ;), but thats a heck of a start to the year.

What are OU's single season records for those 3 categories?

I'd like to see him finish the year around 55/45/85. I think that would be a GREAT season.

That would be good enough to make him 1st team all Big 12. Those numbers would be unreal...

Hard to compare the threes because of such a difference in attempts. But OU has had "several" guards finish around 43%. Those were some great seasons. Heskett had a season at 47%

I can't find any solid stats on 2 pointer %'s, or FT %'s for a season.

Just found where Hollis had a season at 93% from the line.

It seems like I remember Hollis finishing a season around 91% from free throw, but I may have been drinking at the time.

Edit: There you go. I undersold him by 2%.

Hollis' senior year, he finished 45/43/93.

Willie Warren had a 47.3 FG% in 08-09 (wish he could have done that the next year).

That would probably be first team All-American. 55% from the field and 45% from three is off the chart for a sg. . If you are shooting 55% from the field that means you are hitting well above 60% from inside the line. Blake Griffin shot 65.4% from the field his senior year and he was putting up a lot of dunks and short shots. A sg will not get those close shots.

If he maintains throughout Big XII play then you we lose him to the draft next year

I doubt he would get first team AA status unless this team went HAM during conference season and got near the top 10.

IF he put up numbers like that again the next year, then yeah, I think you would be correct.
