I think that's who we are. After playing lights out earlier in the year I believe the 2nd half of the season we regressed to the mean.

Serious ? I think we'll be fine next week. This team is a tough group.

Really tough schedule obviously. But it'll be hard to pick OU to win more than one in the tourney, with confidence.

I see one near certain win, then a series of coin-flips starting in the 2nd round.

And our mean, where ever it is, is a hell of a lot better than what it was when the guy in your avatar left.

Considering we don't even know what our bracket looks like that's quite a statement.

Wow. I mean I was one of the most negativite today but man you can't think this team is not a good team. WVU is a top 10 team man. I think the floor is the sweet 16 and the ceiling is final 4...MAYBE a national championship if we don't have to meet up with a group of bigs.

While I don't necessarily agree with him on regressing to the mean, 7-5 over the last 12 heading into the NCAA tournament doesn't show great basketball being played.

Eight of those games were against tourney teams, six of them against current top 25 teams. Who else outside the Big 12 has played that kind of schedule? And why did you decide to stop at 12 game, including just one game from a four-game winning streak? Go back 15 games and we're 10-5.

That depends entirely on how the rest of the top 10 or 20 teams in the country would do against the same schedule.

Egggzactly.

Just stating a fact; the good guys have won 7 of their last 12. I think a lot of us think of this team as the one who blew out nova and took KU to the wire in Lawrence. We aren't that team

No doubt. Capel ran the program in the ground and then ran home to mommy K. My screename is just meant to poke fun at his ridiculous facial hair.

Just the way we've played for the past 2 months, we don't even know our own team!

I know them. I knew they were going to come back tonight. I didn't know if they'd win, but I knew they would claw their way back into it.

We were playing a top 10 team tonight, and they won by a tenth of a second that went off the clock too early. And we've been playing tourney-bound teams, with few exceptions, night in and night out for the past two months.

I think 10-5 is more realistic of how the team is playing right now. Hopefully we can get some rest, be the 2 seed in the south, and go on a tear.

I don't get some of you fans. So negative.

I call them how I see them. Nobody was happier with the way we started the season. But we've now played less than stellar ball for as many games as we played great ball. I'm more inclined to think we'll likely continue playing as we have since January, and not revert back to before then for 4, 5, or even 6 games in a row.

That team could be back, you never know. We had 21 turnovers. The best player in college goes 1 of 8. Against a top 10 team and only lose by 2 and should have won. I think this team is close to getting their mojo back.
