Speaking of 7 winning streak victims... is Texas Tech doomed or have they developed an allergy to athletics?

I've read Mike Leach's book. I've heard that they have too many people to please (and not just Craig James) and too many Texas-sized egos at a Tech-sized budget/campus/etc.

Texas Tech was not sucky at one point in everything, including womens basketball. Who in the hell forgot to turn off the vacuum when they were done cleaning house? suck suck suck suck suck

That's the other thing --- they're getting name-coaches (ones that even casual fans can name) but who are probably past their prime... so again, Texas-sized ego but pea-sized brain in hiring them? i.e. Bobby Knight, Tommy Tuberville, Tubby Smith

It makes you wonder how in the hell they landed Sheryl Swoopes a few decades ago... and if it wasn't just a fluke, will it happen again any time soon to Taco Tech?

The biggest mistake Taco Tech ever made was firing Mike Leach. He put that entire athletic department in the spotlight and they haven't been worth a spit in any sport since.

The best part was when Craig James in Texas arrogance/stupidity, decided that he was popular enough to run for a U.S. Senate seat... but had to constantly (or his staff) answer questions about "CJK5H."
