Aaron Calixte visiting this weekend

I imagine Doolittle will get plenty of PT playing multiple positions..

They'll still go hard after Cunningham from USC-Upstate I would believe.

We still have 1 open scholarship assuming Calixte commits to us. USC-Upstate guard Mike Cunningham is scheduled to visit April 19th, but he seems like a clone of Reynolds. If we also get Calixte, I bet that visit is cancelled. JMHO

He’s a 6’ combo guard who averaged 13.7 ppg. He visits OSU and Louisville after the OU visit.... and OSU has more of an opportunity/need than the Sooners.

Over on SoonerScoop, Bob Przybylo does a good job with OU basketball recruiting. He posted this morning that OU is “very confident” about Calixte, and in his opinion it’s just a matter of how/when Calixte wants to announce it.

I agree with using it on a grad transfer. I’m just saying if I was Mike Cunningham, and saw where we just signed Reynolds and Calixte, I would be considering other options like OSU who has no guards.

The OU men’s basketball twitter feed just put up the google eyes like Lincoln Riley does when they have an unannounced commitment that about to be announced. Aaron Calixte already told Jon Alba he was close to a commitment and would announce it this week. It’s happening.

Exciting. This team is going to be solid 1-8 or so and will have probably 6 or 7 guys who could legitimately average double digits in scoring next year. It won't have any 30 PPG scorers but it could have a different star every night.
