There is no excuse for anything but a better than .500 record and trip to the dance or Joe screwed up to please the impatient people in Oklahoma.

That was the standard everyone was giving Capel to live up to or they were ready to fire him.

I really disagree that Capel has the team ready to get the team back to the NCAA Tournament. I'm not expecting the guy we hire to do it either, but I expect him to start laying the foundation for a more stable, successful program.

The NCAA has already set a precedent that cheating is ok. Auburn, Ohio St., Tennessee, UConn, sleazy Calipari, etc.

OU doesn't have the guards to compete with the top teams in the big 12. Boca is setting it up so when OU has another bad season, the blame will be on the new coach.
