Another dual sport ?

Coach, I know it's only been a week since we talked about this. But is this close to OU's priority list for '21?

1. Collins
2. Trey Alexander
3. ?
4. ?

Looks right now like we can offer 5 and Cortes is in the bag. Any ideas on the other two?

With no sports, if you can't tell i'll do anything to start a basketball recruiting conversation ;).

Depends on if they get the late 2020 offer kid. 7ft kid. Drawing a blank.

I know they love the Nolan Hickman kid.

I think depends on how much football wants him.

I know rankings/ratings are purely subjective, except when it comes to basketball, but his status versus other receivers we have does not quite match up. This might push him to a school like Kansas for if football was his true love then why bother with KU in the first place.

It's like the guy who was entertaining Stanford would go there if academics were first and foremost, but his desire to play in the NFL directed him to us.

Not if Self and KU lose their appeal to the NCAA.

I can hope, can’t I?

I still see certain members posting on the campus corner board so you're going to have to amp up your "hope factor" for it to deserve the credo you want it to.

The allure of Jayhawk basketball likely appeals to him.

He seems to be more of a football player, and OU is recruiting him hard as a WR. I don't think he is a KU-caliber basketball player from what I've heard.

I think Coleman’s offer is commitable. Some offers are first come, first served. We’re probably out on EE and Leary. That leaves 2 of 3 between Farooq, Sturdivant, and Coleman. JMHO

OU will take 4-5 WRs this year, and only currently have two. They will likely end up with a loaded class, but those are mostly 5'9 to 6'1 range. Coleman at 6'4 would complement guys like Mario well. The only way I see a scholarship offer being what keeps Coleman from coming is if the floodgates open once Caleb Williams commits on the 4th and we flip some guys that are already committed.

Yeah, I assumed he had a commitable offer as well. All I know for sure is that OU was recruiting him hard.

Coleman has stated that he'll make his announcement on July 4. The momentum seems to be very much with OU.
