Another reason why I like this team

Friday night at 9 pm on OU/Texas weekend guess where Nick Thompson, Calvin Newell, Carl Blair, and Romero Osby were?

Answer: at the LNC working on their games. But wait, it gets better....they were getting after it so much so that Calvin Newell had his tooth chipped courtesy of Mr. Thompson.

I can already tell that this team is going to be fun watch!

It just seems like to me that we have a lot of guys on this team that have something to prove. Unlike some guys we had last year that thought they were stars the day they stepped on campus, since everybody had told them that they were. Seems like guys like Calvin Newell, Nick Thompson and CJ Washington are just looking to show people that they can play at this level, while guys like Fitzgerald and Pledger are wanting to change what happened last year by improving themselves. It's nice to have hunger. I hope this team scratches and claws their way to some wins this season.

Sometimes low expectations are a good thing. See OSU football this season. They were picked 6th in the South by many people this year and so far they are better than expected. (yuck, I feel sick for saying something good about the cowpukes)
