Another Travis Ford Transfer

This is not good news for ford. He cannot lose the kids that are good team guys. I think that it is his biggest problem is that he recruits all these scorers and those kids come with attitudes and needing the ball. In my opinion he did not handle it well this last year and it does notlook good considering they are going to have more next year.

I don't think anyone had attitude problems this past year. I think it was a poorly put together team that was forced to play Page at PG after Gulley was hurt and Penn was ineffective. Thus forcing the only above average three point shooter to not play off the ball where he's most effective.

If Nash truly is a problem child, then so be it. I'm not (and I don't think Ford should be either) about ruining the chemistry of a 6-10 NIT team. It's not like he's bringing in Nash onto a returning top 25 team and worrying about that imploding.

My point is that it was well documented with stories that the chemistry was not good this last year and I think that it is due to the type of players he has recruited(all scorers and no role players). Scorers are good in small numbers unless they have a coach that can keep them all I check (I do not think that ford can). I think that we are saying the same thing that the team was not put together well, but I just think that it is because there are too many scorers. I do not have a problem bringing Nash in as he is a kid you do not get an opportunity to have all the time. I am just saying it sucks to lose a guy that is good in locker room and with teammates because none of the scorers are leaving and the pokes are picking up more. A lot of attitudes to manage and I am not sure where the leadership is going to come fro
(just like OU squad of 09-10).
