Strengths:
Norris is an athletic small forward who is at his best when slashing to the basket in the open floor. The lefty has a very good frame and good bounce off the floor. He has shown a much improved stroke from the perimeter which makes him a tougher match-up for defenders. Norris is more of a straight line driver who lacks the ability to break his defender down one on one with the dribble. However, when he makes one or two perimeter shots he is very hard to keep out of the paint.
Weaknesses:
Watching Norris you never really get the entire package that you vision. You see glimpses of the small forward, but he seems to lack the consistency needed to be a major factor at times. One area Norris must improve is his energy level. He could be a monster on the glass on both ends of the floor, but instead he is often floating on the perimeter for outlet passes or kick outs. If he ever put all the pieces together you would have a formidable forward who can fill multiple roles on your team.
Bottom Line:
There is no question the talent and body are there he just needs to hone in on his strengths and focus on being the type of player he can be. How effective he will be at the next level will be determined by how his game develops in the next two years.
