Anyone else think that Booker

will bust out this year? He has impressed me with his ability to finish at the rim (pleasantly surprised) the few times he tried last year and he also seems to be a better shot blocker and rebounder than advertised.

I think he will take Hornbeak's spot nicely.

Agree, Big Time. He's a scorer and more athletic than we realize. If he decides he wants to be real good and puts the work in like Buddy and Cousins, he can have a special three more seasons.

I know Booker played on some select team this summer. Seems like it was an under 20 team or something. Did anyone hear how he did?

A player usually improves the most between their freshman and sophomore years, so I would guess he's a much better player this year.

He definitely is more rounded than I realized when we recruited him. I am looking forward to seeing his contribution to the team this year.

He is physically strong, and more has more athleticism than some might think. Frank Booker could easily be a starter at a lot of places. He seems to be dedicated to improving, so we should expect to see him better as a sophomore.

He should get a lot more minutes this year with Hornbeak, Neal and Clark being gone. Neal and Clark played more as forwards but they were on the perimeter a lot. Hornbeak averaged 18 minutes a game. It won't surprise me to see Frank get close to 20 minutes a game this season. I would love to see him average 10+ points in that time and be a force on defense.
