Haven't seen every team play, but is this how most see the conference shaking out?

ELITE TEAMS / FINAL-4 CONTENDERS:
Kansas, Oklahoma St

PROBABLE NCAA TOURNEY TEAMS:
Iowa St, Baylor, Oklahoma

PROBABLE NIT TEAMS
Kansas St, Texas, Texas Tech

OTHERS:
West Virginia, TCU

That's the way I see it, too. Of course, a lot can change when Big 12 play gets underway. For now, though, OU appears to have a place among the five best teams, with KU and OSU a clear favorite for the top spot.

One thing seems certain, the Big 12 is stronger than most people thought before the season started.

I think OU is better than Baylor and ISU. I haven't seen any of ISU yet admittedly. But Baylor just seems pretty average to me overall.

I agree that OU and Baylor are going to battle it out for fifth. But ISU is better right now than both of those teams. They've got more depth than OU and more versatility in their lineup. They are better coached than Baylor.

The way we match up I think OU, Baylor, and Iowa St. all split with each other. Place finish will come down to who can upset osu or ku, or who loses a couple games to the bottom tier teams. I think it will come down to the last game of conference play before it all shakes out.

I agree with a couple of the peeps above ... Iowa State is better right now than OU. I think the Sooners have a high ceiling though. Better ballhandling as the season progresses makes this sooner team much stronger.

I was NOT impressed with Baylor's shot selection and overall offense. I really don't think they are better than OU. Maybe their uniforms will confuse us or something.

I also think OSUx is better than KU. I will probably eat crow there but the superior backcourt wins IMO near every time.

So ... OSUx, KU, ISU, OU, Baylor ...
