I haven't heard you praise Bennett in awhile. It's probably hard to do so when he's only averaging 2 minutes a game in 3 out of 4 conference games.

He is far from worthless. There are so few kids with the talent to play basketball at a Big XII level. He works hard, stays out of trouble and is an elite athlete even if he isn't All Big XII. To me that is admirable.

What isn't admirable is fans taking shots at kids.

He is a true freshman, there is a good chance he starts at some point in the next 3.5 years. After next season Thomas, Bennett, and Spangler will be gone. He could the front runner right now to start with manyang in the 2016-2017 season

Only Thomas and Bennett will be gone unless Spangler leaves early. I really hope that doesn't happen. He is going to be a great player his senior year. He just posted double double against KU on 6 of 10 shooting and he forced a three pointer late.

I said after next season, meaning after the 2015-2016 season. At that point manyang, Lattin, and mcnease are the only posts on the roster right now the will still be there.
