Best in the Big 12

Nice find. Some interesting stats:

1- OU is No. 1 in women's rowing. Didn't we just start that sport less than 10 years ago?
2- Most Big 12 schools only have 5-6 mens sports, but 9-10 womens sports. I know, football, but I wish that scholly limits weren't so limiting
3- I wish OU had swimming/diving. Hell, I wish there was an indoor pool for student use instead of just that outdoor one that closes right after school begins :(

There still is the indoor pool next to the outdoor pool. They were also supposed to build a new indoor/outdoor pool complex near the Huff for students and potentially add women's swimming and diving as a sport. Don't know what happened to that.

The regents told Boren he couldn't swim in the nude late at night with male students under 20.

So, it must be okay to slam someone who is not a member of this forum, right?

Wait... this forum doesn't have any males students under the age of 20? <sigh> probably jumped back on the mens basketball bandwagon now that they're back in the postseason.

:(

You mean like Travis Ford?

Travis Ford is short.

Travis Ford's blazer is America's brightest orange.

Joking aside, Pokes really seem to hate on the guy, but all he does is go down to help with tornado relief efforts, take the Poke womens team out to dinner after their coach dies, and tons of other selfless things that seem to get overshadowed by the fact that he's not Bill Self, not Eddie Sutton, not Gallagher or Iba... whichever one the basketball coach was.

(yes, I'm joking on that last line)

Kinda looks like the league's newbies need to up their game if they are to be considered to have any semblence of being competitive. Hopefully their step up in league status will help their recruiting efforts and help alleviate their poor showing.
