Big 12 talk (other teams games )

Told you all OSU would take a massive drop this year. Cunningham made them all look better last year, coach included.

OU and OSU were not separated by much last year and losing the top pick in the draft will obviously hurt them. That said, it seems a tad premature for people to act like the first week of the season means they will be terrible. I know message boards are not the place for subtlety or nuance, but maybe we should give it a while to play out.

I'm the last one to ever defend oswho, but they were still competitive while Cunningham was out of action last season.

It seems like they've got the same story we do this year: they will defend well. Can they score consistently and rebound against athletic teams or teams with size...

I expect OU will pass them for 5th in the Big 12.

Watching their game against NC State, and they've just gone on an epic run to lead at halftime. Not sure who will win, but their athleticism has made up for their offensive deficiencies in the first half. We'll see if NC State can counter.

OSU is very deep and athletic. However they have been offensively challenged all year. Maybe getting Boone back will help

They hate each other. Chemistry sucks. No shooters.

They got fortunate Walker got hot last night because he is not a good shooter. I think the lack of outside shooting is their biggest issue because they don't have a traditional post scorer. They need to knock down shots to create space for their posts to slash. When they're shooting badly, the floor compresses on them.

They're going to struggle to score all year. Defensively, they are very good with a lot of solid rebounders at both guard and forward positions. They'll play some Eddie Sutton style games in the Big 12.

Like personality wise? They dislike one another? Incorrect.

ummm ok. Yes they dont mesh.

bryce off the bench earlier this week, boone on the bench. Rondel off the bench last night.

Just passing along what Ive been told.

I havent watched a game other than Oakland game.

I enjoyed watching the game. I would say VERY athletic along with the new additions. OU doesn’t appear near as athletic so it will be pretty interesting to see how the teams match up.

I need to see OU play against some better athletic competition. I think it’ll be coming soon.

watched ksu/piggie game..then some of ksu/illinois

ksu's bigs are...not vetry good in my opinion, now they did go against some very good bigs in both ark and illinois. At this point I'd say OU is def better.

guessin the pigs beat OU by 10...don't think we match up well with them.
That's just on me casually watching, so I could be wrong. The have the 7' white kid who is pretty decent. Good passing team.

Not Big 12 but Porter's old guys taking it to Izzo at Battle 4 Atlantis at half. I'm sure it won't last, but neat seeing Moser's old players and their system/culture working.

Baylor over ASU by 12, 75-63. Also, not B12 but they’re a future opponent so I thought I’d throw it in, Florida beat tOSU by 3 on a 3 ball as time expired.
