Big 12 tonight(11-16)

I'm sure OU would hate to have a freshman point guard who can score 29pts in his 3rd game of his career and single handedly win the game for the team.

No one wants a cocky punk like that on their team.

Wow. He did have a heck of a game.

As I said, I don't care how good he is. Congrats on that single-handed OT victory at home against UTSA.

He will fit in with their 6'6" bigs they usually have carry the punk logo around.

I guess it's easy to give out the punk label when you've recently had such fine young men that go by the names, Warren, Mason-Griffin and Gallon on your team.

Precisely my point. Let's hope your Pokes have similar success with Cesar.

Of course, he'll have to step it up a notch at OSU - it usually takes a felony arrest before Alfalfa will suspend anyone.

You can rape a girl and still "be on the team".

Paso is too dense to get that CG could easily be the next TMG. Mason-Griffin scored gaudy numbers many a time his freshman year. Hope Nash and he blow up in your face.

TMG scored 38 points agaist Iowa State. It was one of the best offensive games by a freshman ever in our conference.

And not a single damn was given when he left.

Nash and Guerrero are my heroes and they are upstanding young men.

I've tried to keep count of the posts by this new Poke Policeman we're now afflicted with that would get a Sooner fan banned from an aggie board within minutes, but I've long since run out of fingers and toes.

Is there some rivalry smack board toward which he could be guided? Because he's already beyond tiresome here.

Sarcasm noted.

Now tell me what they have done to merit contempt?

Why don't we let these kids actually do something bad to deserve ridicule before we label them.

I watched the game, I didn't see Guerrero do anything but be excited for making some big plays. He did hold his hand up and celebrate with his teamates after hitting a huge three.

Is that all it takes to be labeled a bad person by OU fans?

I think Blake Griffin is an amazing player but he certainly celebrates and yells after making a monster play. Is he a punk? I don't think so.

Don't be hypocrites.

I'm an OSU fan, and am being genuine.

33 now 34 posts, it's not hard to keep track of it's under my user name.

I don't call names, I just challenge. I don't have control over who gets banned on any board, if the mods don't want the views of an OSU fan on their open forum then they can get rid of me.

I've always thought that traffic was the goal of these type sites but I could be mistaken.

UTSA just blew it. Gave up 2 3 point plays in 4 seconds tied at 77.

Wow. Maybe UTSA is better this year and perhaps added some new improved players, but barely escaping from the UTSA's doesn't look good on Ford's behalf. Wasn't this supposed to be the most talented team Ford has ever had?

Early games are early games, Pitt lost at home tonight to Long Beach State, weird things happen early in the season. And Guerrero, Cobbins, B. Williams, Nash, Jurick are 5 important parts of the rotation that were playing their 3rd collegiate game, this is probably Ford's most talented team, but they're still pretty young. They have the potential to be really good, but if they don't figure out a semblance of half-court offense, it will be a long season.

But, UTSA is probably a top 150 team in the nation. Return 4 starters from a team that was in the NCAA tourney last year. And, their point guard is the only guy who didn't start last year. And he's pretty good, too. Or was the last two nights in the games in GIA.

UTSA made the second round of the NCAA tournament last year and returns 12 players from that team.

OSU has 6 freshman and 1 first year Jr in their rotation, I guess by OU standards they should dominate after 3 games.

LOL, they won a first four game and were a 16 seed.
How did OU do in last years tournament? For that matter how did OSU do?

I give'em props for making it and they do return a lot of players.

What does this have to do with the discussion at hand? OU sucked last year. We had a horrible coach who coached horribly and recruited horribly. We all know it. It sucks for us, but it it's not like we need to be reminded of it to know it, and it definitely doesn't have anything to do with this discussion.

Best I can tell, here is how this conversation has gone:

Stoops4Pres: *Mild, curious questioning of OSU's performance*

PasoPoke: *UTSA made the second round of the NCAA Tournament*

Sam: *Um, actually they were a 16-seed and beat another 16-seed and that is all*

PasoPoke: *BUT OU SUCKZZZZZZZZ!!!!*

These are the protestations of someone with a massive inferiority complex. Responding to every point people make with non sequiturs about how OU sucked at basketball is not really very interesting, let alone persuasive.

I was in there somewhere. Pay attention to me, please.

You got me.

I concede, OSU sucks, OSU players are thugs. You're objective observations are much better than my biased ones.

I only wish OSU could have a basketball program on the level of OU's. Envy got the best of me.
