This schedule is really lacking the big names that we need to get our program on the Big Networks. I know that we would probably get drilled by some at the top but, I would like to see us go on the road like before and play the UCONN's of the world. Kids like to see you on ESPN, Fox and even CBS. Don't know what anybody else thinks but, playing the top 10 schools at least 3 -4 times in our out of conference schedule would help recruiting!!

Its not a big name, but the Ohio game will be a big game. They were in the sweet 16 last year and return most of that team and are already 6-0 i believe.

Most? They literally returned every player on their roster from last season. If they beat Memphis they will likely be undefeated when they come to Norman.

Getting beat by 25 pts on national TV isn't a good thing. I'll take the wins right now. Hopefully, Kruger will have us back to being a quality top 20 team. Then we can schedule tougher. For now, we need all the wins we can get.

We need the Bill Snyder approach to scheduling at this point. These guys needs to have success, build confidence. Winning by 1 at ORU in a game we were outplayed was a 1000 times better for us than getting trounced by the Zags...

Literally, no one does this. Duke this year is the one exception (with 3). But they're Duke.

I agree 100% we need bigger names. our schedule is just to weak.

I am not saying we need to play duke. But how about set up BIGGER NAMES but maybe they arent doing as well in years past.

How far in advance are the non conference games scheduled?

I want to see Wichita State. They're kind of a big name in the Butler variety.
That's a game where a load of fans can attend.

I'd like to see us schedule the Wichita State and Creightons of the world. Mid majors that are excellent programs and usually find themselves in the NCAA tournament.
