Post on Rivals indicating that he is going to.
I guess Lon technically has room for

Nobody should be.I wouldn't be totally heartbroken.
Most human beings, especially athletes, think they are better and are owed more than what they are receiving, it's just a fact of life. In his mind he's an all league player with a future perhaps in Europe. In reality he's an NAIA or Division 2 player, which don't get me wrong is still a nice player, but reality doesn't normally set in when it needs to.Leaving aside how some may feel about Carl...Why?? No one is really threatening his minutes, he would be a senior and OU is a great school to have a degree from. There can always be circumstances beyond your control but they would have to be drastic to transfer at this point. Just doesn't make sense right now. No matter what I hope things work out for him. He has worked hard the time he has been here and not been a problem as far as we know. Good luck either way.
Do we have this from an actual media source yet, or does this all just stem from a post that BigRedRon6969USA made on SoonerFans?
That's all I personally need.Do we have this from an actual media source yet, or does this all just stem from a post that BigRedRon6969USA made on SoonerFans?
Where would he go? UCO? DII?
UCO is DII.
If he went DII, I think he plays about as much as he did this past season at OU. He turns the ball over too much and almost all of them are unforced (dribble off his leg, passes that slip off his hands and to the other team or out of bounds, etc.). And, he can't shoot.
2 years ago, he had potential if he could improve and stop the unforced errors. He has not, so he is as good as he's ever going to get. He is what he is, and that is an average basketball player. IMO, he needs to try for an NAIA 2nd division school (lower level than OCU, OBU, etc.). I had some friends from high school who played at Manhattan Christian College in Manhattan, and that is about where he needs to be. It's non-scholarship though.
I wish him luck and hope for him the best.
Indeed. You are vastly overrating the NAIA small college ranks.
