His Oklahoma City University Lady Stars won the NAIA Division 1 National Championship tonight. Team finished 34-2. Congratulations to a former Sooner coach and player.

Now was that OC or OCU?

Bingo. It's the one that's winning a NC with a former OU assistant that was with the team when they made it to the NC game in 2002 and was a great recruiter.

Congratulations to Bo.
But you need to keep this in perspective. What teams are left in NAIA today? Do a check on which schools are still competing at that level. First across the country - and then check on Oklahoma schools.
It is surprising that OCU has stayed at that level when almost everyone else has left it (a move I personally question pretty strongly). But didn't they (OCU) even discuss dropping athletics a while back?

I don't include a "But"; either they reached the goal or they didn't. We could say Geno Auriemma won this and that BUT he would not be that successful if .... Overton didn't win last year, so it's growth anyway you look at it. Now if he stays there and five years from now he's digressed...time to move on.
Bo has baggage, as we can all remember, but if he has cleaned up his act he might be worth considering when Sherri retires, although he's about as old as me.

Given what Joe Castiglione and David Boren have been through, I think there is a 0% chance they would let Sherri Coale bring Bo back. Maybe that's not fair, but I would be willing to bet it's reality.
