Brawl at end of KU/KSU basketball game

It’s the ugliest brawl I’ve seen in a long time. There will be multiple suspensions. Both benchs emptied.

That last replay looks like the KSU bench guy may have thrown the first punch. DeSousa picking up the chair should give him at least 10 games though.

Ku running clock out, ksu guy stole ball got layup blocked by desousa who then stood over ksu guy...

Ksu dude in street clothes came off bench then all hell broke loose.


All with less than 5 sec on clock... put 1 sec back on, ksu shot T made 1/2... ku had 3 white guys on court..
Brought teams back out ...everyone on bench got ejected..

The amount of issues caused by a guy who isn’t good is kind of shocking. Would guess self boots de Sousa after this one.

Desousa blocked the shot of K-State player. K-State player went down under the goal out of bounds and Desousa went straight over and stood over him. Kstate players from the bench moved toward the altercation and it blew up. Desousa's season should be over.

Thanks for the update on how it went down. De Sousa is beyond a knucklehead. Not sure if he ever suits up again for them.

It looked to me like a couple of KU players were stomping/kicking on the KSU player up against the stands towards the end of the fight.

The ESPN replay is awful because it went to a player near mid court instead of staying with the players near the goal to show who started things.

KU has at least 2 players that almost deserve season long suspensions desosa for ready to use the chair and the player that had the Ksu kid laying down pinned up against the wall and likely kicking him deserve the worst punishments.

Yup...a grad asst came in and tackled the ksu dude in street clothes pass the goal... not sure whether a ku or ksu grad asst.

Then about 3 ku guys... desousa and the other big #13 FR forward and #0 Garrett went that way with desousa picking up a stool/chair and had to be restrained by self. The other big was kicking someone

He should be banned for the season. He would’ve swung that chair if the assistant didn’t stop him. He doesn’t deserve to play another game.
