Per his facebook:

"Its official no longer a sooner, its been real like my man Russell Simons say...."

There ya go

i wish you nothing but success, ray. thank you for your time here.

Does anybody else feel like they're reading Agatha Christie's "Ten Little Indians"?

What in the hell is going on behind the scenes with this team?

at least now we know SOMETHING.

this was getting ridiculous. all the speculation.

so i must assume the player meetings with coach capel are taking place now???

I had high hopes for Ray. Too bad it didn't work out.

Best of luck, Ray!!! :ray

Really gonna miss Ray...

and i will follow him as a player wherever he goes...

i was really hoping he could blossom here and improve but looks like he just never did the things Capel expects out of his players...

So I take it you think this is a bad thing?

if three or four players are on scholarship next year, I don't think its going to help out our grad rates. Scholarships can be lost. Its late in the recruiting season.
Not sure why Ray never worked out, but this late in the year are you going to find somebody better than him?

I am not quite sure how I feel about it...if Capel sent him packing he needs to treat everyone the same...so guys that were getting no run should leave....
Since Ray is gone I think it is only fair to do the same to Hardick regardless if he is from Oklahoma or not...we could use his schollie to elsewere

Best of luck to Ray.

Think a transfer to a SoCon type school and a productive redshirt year could do wonders for his game.

To me them getting rid of Ray means capel has some good things up his sleeves on the recruiting front...

next on all my children! aka "ou basketball team" i love daytime drama with sports

Not only is Ray not a division 1 player, he appeared to be quite miserable sitting on our bench. This is the best thing for all parties involved.
