Buddy Hield already working out on an elliptical machine

I would guess he is at least a week and a half out at best. Won't be allowed to go full out in practice without clearance and good looking X-rays. Definitely a good sign!

It seems/sounds like the Big 12 Tournament is a reasonable target. There won't be a need to rush him back for WVU at home and TCU on the road the last week of season. (although every game is losable)

The big 12 tourney won't start for 2 and a half weeks.

The concern with Big 12 tourney would be the back to back games. Kruger has shown to be very good rotating guys in and out, so I don't think that's too big of concern. 10-15 minutes of Buddy is better than 0. Hopefully by NCAA (knock on wood) he's ready for his usual minutes or even a little less with how well Hornbeak has been playing if needed.

I like that time frame better than taking a chance on bringing him back too early for two games we should win with the players we've got. I would much rather have a healthy Buddy for the most important portion our season, namely the conference tourney and the NCAAs.

Of course Buddy is healing,Blake lai d hands on him and passed him his(Blake's) own great regeneration skills.

So glad to hear this news...I love watching Buddy play. He's might even replace Hollis (in my heart) before he is finished at OU.
