Now that his junior season is complete, Buddy Hield (1,366 points) has moved into 15th place on OU's all-time scoring list. If Buddy comes back for his senior season, he has a shot to join rare company in the 2,000 point club; leaving a big mark on the OU history books.

5th place is definitely in play if he comes back.

If Buddy scored 30 ppg next year, and we played 40 games (including postseason), he would still be 100 points short of tisdale.

And Wayman only played 3 years..not 4. I doubt any of us ever see that record broke. In this day and age, if a player is that good to avg enough points per game to come close to the record...chances are they won't be here more than 2-3 years.

We (Sooner fans) were so fortunate to see Wayman inside the LNC for three years, and Blake for two.

It is so fitting that the USBWA men's National Freshman of the Year award is named the Wayman Tisdale Award. It is the annual basketball award given to college basketball's most outstanding male freshman player by the United States Basketball Writers Association.

Three of the top 10 scorers only played three season. Adams almost certainly would be number 2 with four seasons. Siddle would likely be top 5 if not higher.
