More news: flare-up happened at practice on Sunday night. And the team will only have 9 players on the trip. Avila and Hamilton will not have joined the team in time to make the trip.

This will be a great opportunity for Booker to get some quality minutes.

Any reason Avila has been taken off the roster at SoonerSports? He was on it. Hamilton is still on.

I sure hope this is not an idication his foot is going to be a problem this season. OU desperately needs him next season.

Missing these games might be a good thing because Booker, Woodard and Cousins will get more time. OU is going to need those three guys to score some points next season. I am confident Buddy will produce if healthy.

Exactly what I was thinking. I really hope he isn't going to have long-term issues.

Are these JUCOs actually going to make it in? It's usually not a good sign when guys haven't made it in by July.

The trip is better spent playing Booker, Cousins and Woodard anyway. Hield will be fine in his development.
