C.J. Cole will be a Sooner

I think he could play the #4 and do very well if that is where he is needed. But, if they can find a good 4 man rotation to bang and grind inside without him. He would likely be much more valuable as say a #3.

well the starting 4 for next season .. is pretty much locked up with osby ..

I would not be surprised to see a lineup with Cam coming off the bench.

PG Grooms
SG Pledger/Newel
F M'Baye
F Osby
C/F Fitz/Arent

Gary how much have you seen him play? I'm giving my opinion, he needs to bulk up more to be a 4. Thats my opinion! He isnt skilled enough to be a 3,2, or 1...! (like you try to pencil everyone into)

Ive seen him play for the last 3 years, I know their coach, I've coached againist him, I know others who have coached againist him. You may think you are the smartest person in the world, but you arent... Sorry to break it to you!

220 and 6'7 or 6'8 can still add some muscle, MOST HS kids change when they go to a college lifting program, 2hrs a day.

What are you talking about? I never said he should be a 3. The conversation had drifted off to M'baye.

You are certainly free to express your educated opinion. I'm just glad my kids were coached by someone that could express their opinion without hurling personal insults.

It's cute how everyone one of your posts drip with superiority and condescension, but you play the victim when someone responds in kind.

The bully cannot stand being bullied. It's a story as old as time.

Sperry does play tomorrow night. Will be there scouting for our team but they're playing Class A Barnsdall. Like Brimm said, he's a 4. Period. There's nothing wrong with that. He's similar size wise to Beau Gerber when he was at OU. He's a little more athletic but definitely not a 3 at the college level.

Yes, Skyview. I popped an immature shot at you. And I wish I had better control of my emotions sometimes. It was one of literally hundreds of post.

But, what you did was totally classless and mean spirited. You had absolutely nothing to bring to whatever arguement that was at hand. You went after me on spelling and puncuation. You had the need to put me in my place as you put it. And I won't forget that.

There are a handfull of people that won't argue the substance of any topic. That just want to call people names. When I'm the target of the rule breaking name calling. I'll fire back.

Read the thread that started this and then tell me who first jumped the track.

Everyone in this thread needs to calm down. This isn't about basketball anymore, so let's get back to discussing Lon landing another player who seems to be smart and talented.

I love getting smart and talented players. Makes me think I could have played basketball. Well, except for the talented part lol. :D

Bo Gerber. From watching that video he seems kike a nice kid that won't see much time in my opinion. I'm sure he'll help the team out in several ways. Hard practice player with some size plus his grades will add to the teams GPA.

I think his potential upside is a lot higher than Gerber's was. Though having a glue guy like that is always good.

I would certainly agree that there wasn't any "WOW" factor when watching the kids highlight video. But, until Kriger makes a recruting mistake, I think that it is safe to assume that this one will make the team better at some point down the line. Until proven otherwise, my position is going to stay, if Kruger likes him, I like him.
