Curious to hear you guys thoughts on Mr Washington in the limited time that we have seen him play.

I have been impressed with his athleticism and positioning down in the post. This team is really going to need him to be a guy that can come in and convert some of Thompson's interior passes when Drew is not in the game.

His stroke looked pretty good from the free throw line the other night as well. I wonder if he can step out and hit the midrange?

It seems to me that capel is reluctant to play Thompson and cj together....when fitz came out puma came in...I would like to see Thompson and fitz playing together some in a blow out...capel should have done more experimenting.

really like what i saw from cj. he's the only pogo-stick rebounder on the team. he's going to keep himself alive on some rebounds just because he's so quick off his feet.

Washington is an absolute spark-plug. The entire team pretty much to a man plays hard and together, but CJ gives us an extra jolt on the floor and is another powerful presence inside with high rebounding as well as finishing ability. He will absolutely be key to the overall potential of the team and I cannot wait to see him in action more as games go on.

I thought that C.J.started a little slow when he first got out there against Texas Southern, but he really started to assert himself later on. He has some nice skills, particularly his touch, and I would really like to see what, if any, mid-range game he has.

I think he still has much to showcase of his game (due to his injuries and lack of comfortability in the system). I just hope he can continue to gain confidence and stay healthy. If so, he will be a great asset to the team.

For whatever reason, Capel seems reluctant to play Washington. Maybe he isn't well yet. Inquiring mind(s) want to know: Why isn't he playing more?

He's been injured and he's struggled defensively in practices. I have a feeling he's going to get a lot of minutes against UK.

CJ Washington is the best post finisher on the team. You can see how easily he elevates and finishes compared to Fitz really struggling around the rim.

We need CJ to explode after the break like Nate Carter did in 06-07.
