Cameron Clark is averaging 6ppg in the last 8 games

Cameron Clark is averaging 6 points per game, and he plays over 35-40 minutes a game over the 8 game losing streak.

OU needs to bring someone in next year who can score. Im sure Clark will be fine, but the last place offensive team in the conference will need some people who can put the ball in the hole.

Cezar is supposed to be a good offensive player, Osby will probably come in and average 13-15 a game, so that helps, but this team has a huge weakness at shooting guard.

Pledger does a good job scoring points, but he is so hot and cold. They said on the tv last night that he was 2 of his last 16 shooting 3's or something like that. He also seems like the type that is scoring because he plays on a terrible team and gets a lot of shots, but that could change as an upper-classmen. Right now, he should be coming off the bench for a good team.

If I'm understanding your post correctly, I agree 1,000%. He's pulled the reins so tight on this team that nobody outside of Cade feels confident trying to create anything on their own.

I got the feeling from that post that Cam may not be real happy in Norman, but maybe I'm wrong. I think he would stick if Capel was fired and we hired the right coach.

That's interesting. I haven't watched every minute of every game I could (unlike basically every season for the past 25 years), but last night I saw several situations where Cam had worked himself open cutting to the basket (defender clearly on his hip and trailing with nobody between him and the basket), only to watch Blair look his way then make the safe pass to the wing.

FREAKING MADDENING!

Yeah, Pledger has been underwhelming to say the least. I hope the poster above is right about Cam struggling because of over-coaching. I'm beginning to wonder if his ceiling isn't Tony Crocker. Not that Tony was bad, but I guess I was expecting more. It's still early in his career, so he has plenty of time to assert himself more.

Cam was awesome last night. Really unaggressive frosh for being such a skilled player. I really thought he would struggle at times but had a tremendously high ceiling. I thought TJ would be our star of the frosh. Well, 1 out of 2 ain't bad. i guess Capel didn't figure on him getting hurt and leaving.
