He was on this years team and will be on next years team. He had a great freshman season and looked on track to be an all b12 player commensurate with his recruiting ranking.

He regressed badly in Krugers first season before being efficient in a limited role as a junior.

Cam is talented. Kruger should be getting more out of him.

Is it possible for Kruger to hire Capel as a consultant? Maybe in that arrangement we can get the most out of him.
 
Just goes to show (outside of the most obvious super-studs) that HS recruiting services are not real accurate. Probably why from service to service you find such conflicting information. I trust Kruger. He took a pretty crap one-man team to the NCAA, saddled by leftovers from a guy that obviously couldn't evaluate talent.

Everything will be fine.
 
Clark and Neal should each get their chance to shine as Seniors.
 
Clark should redshirt. He could use it and with M'Baye gone...Our season is going to be bad. Could really help us out the following season.

No need to respond to these dumb statements. Lets just redshirt everyone and cancel next year, Eveyone would be better the following years.

Coach you have to admit it would be nice if Cam had redshirted and had 2 years left. Look how Osby blossomed in his 5th season.

You know as a coach Cam has a lot of productivity in him. It's the coaches job to nurture the talent and find every possible way to maximize it.

Next season is going to hinge a lot on Cam now. Kruger has to get the most out of him.

play the walk-ons obviously and dont cancel the year. but it is now a foregone conclusion that we will win 5 games tops.... am i doing it right??
 
This last year was by far Cam's best year as a Sooner. And it's not even close.

He was never going to be a Big 12 superstar. He's a good player who will hopefully bring a lot to the team next year.

wouldnt have to consider it if Kruger would recruit better. He's already has a walk-on with a scholarship and the 48th best juco player coming in.

Redshirted as a Frosh or Soph., sure, but you cant ask him to do it as a senior. He has to step up, thats what good programs do from HS to College. Good players graduate and then other guys step up.

He just redshirted a juco player. Are you kidding me. You can redshirt a juco player but not him.
 
Clark looks to have all-world talent, but he's lacking in the basketball IQ department.

And I bet neither FGCU, Wichita State, or LaSalle have anyone ranked higher than him, but guess what? They are in the sweet 16.

In basketball recruiting, rankings mean very little.
