i think in pretty much any other year of OU hoops we'd be doing backflips about a player like Fitzgerald coming in!

he's just been a bit overshadowed, which is fine.

I think it's groundbreaking simply because OU basketball is on the front page. I think things like this can kind of change prospects minds about OU just being a football school.
