I think its funny that a couple months ago we won like 4 games in a row and everyone loved capel. its funny that 2 yrs ago we made it to what, the elite 8? everyone loved capel. To me it seems like we play hard and play fairly smart. I think all the way back to capels we have gotten good shots offensively.
capel made one major mistake and that was recruiting last yr. gallon and tmg put us in a bind and we are still trying to make up for that. Last years recruiting we did decent bringin in who we did in clark osby blair and newell. I still believe we are on the right track. lsat year we were basically starting the program from track. we are starting to put some decent pieces together in blair pledger osby and fitzgerald. if we can bring in a couple average big guys in next years recruiting class and one scorer i think next year we could be an nit team and much more improved. after next we could be a legitimate postseason team.
i say we give capel another run. hes a good coach. hes a good guy. he got us to that level with blake and i believe he do that again.
if we were to get rid of capel we would get a new coach and would basically be starting over again. our roster would again be overhauled and it would be a 4 yr project instead of 2.
i for one hope he gets another shot.

Coaching is many times illustrated by defense and rebounding. Two areas we are absolutely horrific in.

3 top 150 players on team, offense terrible too.

Goff is not coming.

Osby may be a "savior" he may not. He scored 4 PTs a game at MSU. He will be replacing Cade at the 3/4. Cade was our leading scorer and 2nd leading rebounder.

Capel is a joke.
