Carl Blair starting for Cam Clark tomorrow

I'm happy for Carl Blair. I've always liked his hustle and believed he had the potential to be a productive guard for the Sooners. But it really doesn't matter one whit whether I'm right or wrong about a particular player. What's important to me is that the Sooners are starting to show that they can compete with some of the better teams in the Big 12.

If it turns out later that T.J. Franklin is the best guard on the team and Barry Honoré is their top post player – and the Sooners continue to play like they did Saturday – it will be fine by me.

solid post. I feel the exact same way and believe most of the posters on this site (also feel this way). My complaints about Carl's deficiencies are merely that. It's nothing personal. Never has been and never will be. The same can be said about my posts on Capel and others.

There was a time when I probably would have doubted your sincerity in posting those statements, Booger. But that's no longer the case. I'm now convinced that you're a Sooner fan first and foremost, and if you're critical of a particular player or coach, it's because you want what's best for the team.
