The way this guy takes the ball to the basket and finishes is IMPRESSIVE for a sophomore. I was down on the guy a month ago, but he has really progressed over the past few weeks.. few point guards in college seek out contact and are able to finish. I love the way he played this afternoon.

:blair:

Also, bravo to the crowd. It was a fun game to attend.

hm, good to see ya bud!

The thing I like about Blair's offensive game is how fearless he is driving the ball and taking contact. Teams have to respect his pull up midrange game so it gives him a small step once he gets to the elbow.

Love his emotion as well.

While Clark kept them in the game in the first half, Blair was the player of the game. His ability to get to the rim and finish over Baylor's size/length was phenomenal. I couldn't agree more

That drive and kick out to Pledger for the game-tying (I think) 3 was amazing to watch.

Blair was abusing Perry Jones when taking it to the rim. He really has great body control and knows how to finish.

He's playing better thanPenn and Walton.

But Blair will not be the starting PG next year!

I am assuming that is sarcasm, but you have to admit, how he was playing 3 weeks ago was cause for concern at the point guard position.

I am really happy he is getting caught up to the speed and physicality of Big 12 Basketball and hopefully he can be a great point for the rest of this season and the next 2

I'm glad people are starting to come around on Blair. I have like the kid from day one. We just had to give him a little time. He may not put up 19 and 7 every game. We really dont need him to. We just need him to put up 9 pts, 5 assists and keep his TO's down around 2-3 each night and the other 4 guys who all average double figures now can do the rest.

Here is where he stands among the Big 12 assist leaders in conference play today. Not bad for a guy that many said was not a big 12 calibur player, including the guys on the sports animal.

What I like most about that list is there are only 3 underclassmen on the list and one of them (and highest ranked) is Blair.

Good point. Not only that, but nearly everybody on that list will be gone next year either due to graduation or moving to the Big 10.
