If CJ can continue this play, he will be on the short list for Wooden award. His numbers right now are not too far off from BUddy's senior season stats.

I hate to disagree, but Buddy averaged 25 for the season -- there is a huge difference between 19 and 25. That's not to say James isn't having a GREAT season so far, but what Buddy did was off the charts. And right or wrong, James would probably have to average about 50 to win the Wooden over Zion, Barrett, or even the 10th man on Duke's roster. We just need CJ to keep doing what he's doing, and we'll be just fine!

I don't think he has a chance to win it, but I was looking at per 40 numbers.

PPG, RPG, APG, TOPG, SPG, FG%, 3pt%

Buddy: 28.3, 6.5, 2.3, 3.5, 1.3, 50%, 46%

CJ: 23.8, 6.9, 2.7, 2.9, .7, 52%, 43%

Now I think Buddy was doing this on a lot better team...or atleast more experienced. But I do think if CJ keeps this up, he deserves to be in the conversation
