This is good news in my opinion. I think he will really push Pledger and Pledger will push him. They will both go into their senior year with three years of experience and at least two years of starting experience (assuming Pledger starts this season).

Woodard just keeps getting better and better. He would defend and rebound better than Clarke. He also might help in recruitment of his brother, but even by himself he is a better player than Clarke and he has four years of eligibility.

I'm not on board with the total disdain for Clarke's game, but I am with you on preferring this scholarship being used on James Woodard.
